Trump's Family Member Seeks Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for major tournament

The rising star maintains considerable online audience

Kai Trump will have plenty of prominent supporters as she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she stated.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He essentially advised me to play and enjoy myself," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in only three events recently and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the best player worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He advised me to compete, relax, following the flow."

Kai will face several top competitors in women's golf at the Annika, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that her participation exposes the sport to wider groups, especially with the next generation.

The young star has substantial online presence and has started a personal fashion and living company.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
